COUNTY LEAGUE 13-a-side. Asdee/Bally  5-10  Ballyduff 1-1. Asdee/Bally got their County League campaign off to the perfect start on Wednesday  last at O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford where they easily defeated but still a spirited Ballyduff performance but who were rarely in the game  against the home side who were missing a number of regulars on the evening. The visitors failed to lift a single flag in that opening half as the home side with goals from Eoin O Connor, (2) and Jack Mulvihill led at the interval by 3-10 without reply. On the changeover it was more of the same with the combination side completely on top and further goals coming from Paul Murphy and substitute Conor Carmody had the game wrapped up well before the sound of the final whistle. Next weeks round 2 game will be once again a home tie at O Rahilly Park Ballylongford on Wednesday June 25thagainst Knocknagoshel/Brosna. Team and scorers; Stephen Lynch, Jack Keane, Ronan Carmody, Jessie Collins, james O Connor, Cian Barrett, Sean Carmody, Jack Mulvihill, Shane Healy, Kieran Dowd, Micheal Holly, Eoin O Connor. Sub Conor Carmody.

SHANNON RANGERS.  (Upcoming Fixtures)

The following are the Shannon Rangers fixtures taking place during the next couple of weeks;

MINORS. O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford is the venue for the Keanes Super Value Minor County Championship where Shannon Rangers will play East Kerry  on Wednesday July 9th at 7pm.

 UNDER 21. Beale/Bally/ Asdee will form a line up for this years Acorn Life Under 21 County Championship which is due to go ahead on this Wednesday June 25th. 7 30pm.

 Shannon Rangers v Laune Rangers at J P O Sullivan Park, Killorglin. Extra time if required. Loosers of first round games will be out again on Wednesday July 2nd.

O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford on Sun July 13 will see an attractive double header in the Garveys Super Value County Senior Football Championship;

Shannon Rangers      v     St Mls/F’more   2pm.

Feale Rangers            v     Mid Kerry  3 30pm

Extra time in both games if required.

The local St. Marys Club will have representatives in all three competitions.

FIXTURE. Next round of the County League Division 5 Asdee footballers will have home venue against Tuosist on Saturday/Sunday June 28/29th.

Remaining County League games are; Home to Duagh and Dr. Crokes “B”. Away to Laune Rangers “B” and Sneem/Derrynane.

NORTH KERRY LEAGUE Asdee senior footballers will take on Knocknagoshel in the McCarthys Insurance Brokers Division 2 semi final. Date and venue to be confirmed. The winners will play Ballydonoghue in the final.
