NORTH KERRY LEAGUE. Asdee 1-14 Moyvane 1-6. Asdee continued their great start to the season picking up their third league point in the 2015 North Kerry League, Division 2 with an impressive victory over Moyvane played at Con Brosnan Park on Sunday last. The opening half saw the visitors who were short a number of regulars get off to a great start and raced into a 5 point lead coming up to the short whistle but on the stroke of half time Moyvane struck for a well taken goal and this left the interval score reading; Asdee 0-8 Moyvane 1-3. On resumption the home side came out with all guns blazing and should in fact have hit the front but for some terrible shooting from very scorable positions. Asdee weathered the storm and hit for 4 unanswered points but even at that they were finding it difficult to put Moyvane away. However with roughly 10mts remaining the visitors struck for what proved to be the match winning score from Eoin Tydings when he billowed the net. Moyvane continued to fight on and even though they hit 3pts in those final minutes Asdee held firm and held out for a well deserved victory. This was a great team performance from Asdee with everybody playing their part in victory. Scorers; Eoin Tydings, 1-2, Michael Breen, 4pts, Darragh Keane, 3pts, Eoin Kennedy, Darren Russell, Con Carmody, Michael Tydings 1pt each.

COACHING AND GAMES. Kerry Coaching and Games are organizing a number of practical Football Workshops for Coaching which began early this month.
The workshops will concentrate on what areas are important to develop in players at specific age groups and demonstrate Games and drills to illustrate how coaches can improve their players. As players go through development phases there are certain stages where it is crucial that they are introduced to the correct movement and skill development techniques. These practical workshops over the coming weeks will demonstrate at what stages to introduce players to different areas of development.
There will be 3 workshops in total with each session concentrating on a different age group. It is important that at least 1 coach from each of the age groups in your club gets the opportunity to attend one of these workshops. If coaches are working across a number of age they are welcome to attend as many of the workshops as they want.
