HALF MARATHON. Asdee GAA in association with Kerry Respite Care will be holding the inaugural Asdee GAA Half Marathon and 10km road race. The event will also incorporate a 5km fun run/walk. All the routes will start & finish at the grounds of Asdee GAA, Jack Walsh Memorial Park. There will be chip & pin timing for all runners in the Half/Marathon and 10km runs which will allow the competitors to measure their times.The event is open to all runners of any age or fitness level and from any county but we will also be expecting a number of competitive athlethes particularly for the Half-marathon and 10km races. It is AAI permited.

SHANNON RANGERS. The draw for the Garveys Super Value Senior Football Championship quarter final has seen Shannon Rangers paired with South Kerry. This tie will not be going ahead until probably October.
MINORS Shannon Rangers 0-10 Dingle 0-15 Shannon Rangers great run in the Keanes Super Value Sponsored County Minor Championship came to an end at O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford on Thursday evening last when they went down by a 5pt margin to what seemed to be a better balanced Dingle side who fielded no less than 7 of the County Minors who have recently qualified for the All Ireland Semi Final. However fair dues to Rangers who had many involved from the local Asdee/Bally and only for some poor shooting both from play and frees could have been a lot closer at the final whistle. Still it has been a very encouraging from this young side who can boast of been able to field the majority of this panel for 2015.
