SCOR. The local Club were involved in the North Kerry Finals of Scor Na nOg at the Marian Hall, Moyvane on Saturday night last with our two competitors having mixed fortunes. Anthony O Hanlon in the Recitation gave an excellent rendering  of “School Days” and qualified for the County Semi Finals for North of the County to be held in the Community Centre, Knocknagoshel on Friday November 22nd.  Marie Hannon despite putting up excellent performances in the Solo Singing category with”The Galway Shawl” failed in her quest to go further in the competition. It was disappointing that the Club could not put more forward and certainly it was not Scor Officer Kathleen Carmodys fault. Hopefull there will be a better effort when Scor Sinsear comes around

SENIOR SCOR. The North Kerry Finals of Senior Scor will once again be very kindly sponsored by local man; Tom O Sullivan of Agri Business, Kilcolman Asdee. The competition will run early in the New Year and will take place in the Community Centre, Asdee.

MUNSTEROur senior footballers are prepairing hard for the clubs historic travels into Munster for the Munster Junior “B”  football competition. At the moment there are games going ahead in the competition; Both the Clare and Limerick County Finals are down to the latter stages and It looks at the moment that Asdee will be having their opening game in the middle of November. Certainly the parish is buzzing at the minute with the thought of representing the County in Munster competition and what ever happens it is the greatest moment in the Clubs history.
