UNDER 21 CHAMPIONSHIP. Played at Dowling Park Coolard on Sunday last a very much understrength Asdee/Bally/Beale exited the North Kerry Under 21 football championship at the quarter final stage on a scoreline of Listowel Emmets 1-13 Asdee/Bally/Beale 0-7. The semi final line up is Listowel Emmets v Ballydonoghue and Moyvane/Tarbert v Castleisland Desmonds.
MEMBERSHIP. Membership of the Club is now open so anybody who would like to take out membership can do so by contacting Club Registrar, Patsy Coughlan. Adults E20 and Under Age E10. It is important to note that Membership of the Club will close on Monday March 31st and this will be strictly adhered to. Only fully paid up members will be in line for any match tickets that the Club may aquire.
CLUB MEETING. The first meeting of the Club will take place in the Community Centre on Thursday January 29th. 8pm. All Club members are requested to be in attendance.
COISTE NA NOG. The A G M of Coiste Na nOg Easa Duibhe due to have taken place on Saturday evening last was posponed due to unforeseen circumstances and has been reconviened for this Saturday and will take place in the Community Centre; January 24thth at 8pm sharp. Together with our fellow parishioners, Ballylongford at under age level there has been great success so it is very important that as many parents as possible be in attendance to air their views and help in a big way to continue with the success that has come our way not alone this year but also back the years. One selector for all age groups from this side of the parish will be put in place on the night. Everybody welcome.
SCOR SINSEAR; The North Kerry Finals of Senior Scor will take place at the Marian Hall, Moyvane on Saturday February 7th with a starting time of 7pm sharp. Due to the changes made at Scor level the quiz will now take place on the evening of the County Finals which is set for Brosna Community Centre on Saturday February 21st. The Marian Hall Moyvane will also be the venue for Scor Na bPaisti North Kerry Finals on Sunday February 22nd with the quiz getting underway at 12 noon followed by the remainder of the programme. The local club will be taking part in both the Scor Sinsear and Scor Na bPaisti.
FUNDRAISER Tickets for the St. Marys Asdee Fundraising Draw, which was embraced by clubs earlier this year, has been selling briskly with Ivan Tydings leading the Fundraising challenge. Plenty posters with all the magnificent prizes listed are well advertised around the area and local businesses. While all of the prizes will be provided by the GAA at central level, the proceeds from the sale of tickets will stay with our club. Tickets costing €10 can be obtained from any club member must be returned to the County Board by January 24, 2015. Once again we ask for your continued support as each E10 you will spend will stay with the club. So by purchasing a ticket you can be in for some super prizes along with helping St. Marys, Asdee.The draw will take place on February 27th, 2015 at Congress..
