MINOR LEAGUE Asdee/Bally 4-11 Ballyduff 2-12. These two teams played out an enthralling North Kerry League Division 2 tie played at Walsh Park, Asdee on Thursday last. The game had everything; great scores, hard graft, sheer heart and commitment and for the home side the ability to dig out a hard earned victory that yielded two late goals to secure the points on offer. The combination side got off to the best possible start when Darragh Keane struck for the first of his two goals in the opening minute and at the interval it was Asdee/Bally who led 2-5 to Ballyduffs 1-6. The second half was nip and tuck with the sides all square going into the last 5mts of the contest and then when it looked as if the game might end on level terms or in fact could have gone the visitors way; the home side struck for two late goals coming from Eoin Tydings and Jack Mulvihill to seal a win.
