Under 16 County Leauge

  St. Pats Blennerville 3 17  Asdee/Bally 0-16

St. Pats had home venue in Blennerville for this County League Division 7 encounter and due to the visitors been short on numbers it was played at 11 a side. The game was quite even to begin, with both sides getting good scores. Asdee/Ballys defence were under a lot of pressure and St. Pats gradually began to pull ahead and at  half time Asdee/Bally were down by 6 points.
The second half started promisingly for Asdee/Bally as they narrowed the gap to 4 but St. Pats scored a well taken goal to increase the margin again. Overall the second half saw some very well taken scores especially from the boot of Kieran O’Connor but the home side also had similar scoring power. They found the net twice more in the second half and in the end it was these goals that made up the share of the margin. The game ended on the scoreline of St. Pats 3 17 Asdee/Bally 16pts.
