North Kerry Semi-Final called off 06/07/14

NORTH SEMI FINAL. The eagerly awaited McCarthys Insurance Brokers Division 2 Football League; Asdee v Knocknagoshel due to be played at O Sullivan Park, Finuge on Saturday evening last failed to get underway as the Knocknagoshel Secretary Michael Murphy informed our Secretary, Mark O Hanlon earlier in the day that they were unable to field a team. It remains to be confirmed by the North Kerry Football Board if the game will be awarded to Asdee or will there be a refixture. The winners of this game will take on last years beaten finalists and form team at the moment Ballydonoghue on Sunday July 20th with a venue to be confirmed.

CUL CAMPS.  Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps are a great way for children aged 6 – 13 to play the games and learn GAA skills in a fun child-friendly environment – and maybe even help make them a GAA star of the future!
Asdee/Ballylongford & Ballybunion Cul Camp will take place in both clubs the week of the 14th – 18th of July, Mon – Fri 10am – 2.30pm,

cost €55 per child, reductions available for more than one family member.

North Kerry Minor League. Division 1 Round 2 

Thursday 24th July @ 7.30pm 

At Sheehy Park Listowel. Listowel Emmets  v  Asdee/Ballylongford

  Next round of the Credit Union County League Division 5 Asdee footballers will be away at J. P. O Sullivan Park, Killorglin against Laune Rangers “B” on Saturday/Sunday July 26th/27th.

SHANNON RANGERS. O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford on this Sun July 13 will see an attractive double header in the Garveys Super ValueCounty Senior Football Championship;

Shannon Rangers      v     St Mls/F’more   2pm.

Feale Rangers            v     Mid Kerry  3 30pm

Extra time in both games if required.

This Wednesday July 9th will see the opening round of the County Minor Championship featuring Shannon Rangers v East Kerry. The game will have a 7pm starting time and the venue will be O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford.

The local St. Marys Club will be well represented. Best of luck to all concerned.

CONGRATS. Munster Championship medals to our near neighbouring clubs so congratulations to both Paul Kennelly, Ballydonoghue and Danny Wren, Tarbert who were on the victorious Kerry Junior Football team who defeated Cork at Austin Stack, Park, Tralee and to Jason Foley, Ballydonoghue who was a substitute on the Kerry Minor Football team defeating Cork at Pairc Ui Caoimh.
