CHAMPIONSHIP.
A trip to nearby Dowling Park, Coolard on Sunday November 6th at 2 30pm in the McMunns Bar and Restaurant, Ballybunion Sponsored Bernard O Callaghan Memorial North Kerry Senior Football Championship Round 1 is awaiting our senior football team. We would be well down the pecking order by the bookies to win this tie; however with nothing to loose and under no pressure what-so-ever the team will not be travelling to make up the numbers and having been in this situation on a few different occasions and given little chance this
could be the rock that the opposition might perish in.
Certainly its a big ask as Ballydonoghue are at the moment going very well and with so many players that have worn the Green and Gold of their County in
recent years they would have to start as favourities but would feel
this could very well be the year they will bridge that cap since they
last lifted the Eamon O Donoghue Cup in 1992. Still its all on the day
and if Asdee can lift their game they can be a match for anybody and
that includes the so called top dogs.
LOOKING BACK.
