CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS. The main item on the Agenda for the first meeting of the County. Committee held recently were the Fixtures Calendar for 2016 and the CCC proposals were passed. The draws for the various County Championships were made  and the following are the fixtures involving Asdee. In the Premier Junior Championship Qualifier Asdee will have a home tie against Firies at Walsh Park on Sunday April 17th.  The Credit Union County Football League will be getting underway on Sunday March 20th; Asdee will be competing in Division 5 with an away game against Cromane in Round 1 followed a week later with a home game against Knocknagoshel. North Kerry Football Board will be gettting their competitions underway  on Sunday February 14th. Asdee will have; Knocknagoshel, Ballylongford, Moyvane and Ballyduff as their opponents.Check with Club Officers for fixtures.

 In the County Minor League; Division 5; 13-a-side the teams that will be involved will be Moyvane/Tarbert, Beale, John Mitchels, Keel/Listry along with Asdee/Bally.

CLUB MEETING. At the moment the Club are contemplating a number of Fundraising events which will be going ahead throughout the year. Details of which will be announced at the Clubs first Meeting on Thursday February 4th commencing at 8 30pm sharp. All Club members are requested to be in attendance

MEETING  The first Coiste Na nOg Club Meeting of 2016 will take place at the Community Centre on this Friday February 5th with a starting time of 9pm sharp. It is very important to note that everybody and especially parents interested in the future of Coiste Na nOg in the parish should attend the meeting.

SCOR    Best of luck to the Question Time Team of Mike O Connor, Maria Alice Walsh, Kevin Mulvihill and Eoin Kennedy along with Donal Dalton in the  Recitation catagory who will be representing the local G A A Club at the County Finals of Coiste Scor Sinsear Ciarrai to be held in  the Girls (Convent) Primary School Castleisland on this Saturday February 5th . Quiz will commence at 4pm sharp with the outright winners to go directly forward to the All Ireland Finals. The remainder of the catagories will follow at 6pm. Best of luck to our participants on the evening. Munster Semi Finals 6pm, February 20th at Kanturk, County Cork with the Munster Finals to go ahead in Ovens, County Cork on Saturday March 5th with a starting time of 6pm. All Ireland Finals in the I. N. E. C. Killarney on Saturday April 2nd
