COUNTY LEAGUE Due to Ballyduffs involvement in the Garveys SuperValue County Senior Hurling Championship the Credit Union County Football League Division 5, Round 8 game game between Ballyduff who had home advantage and Asdee down for decision for Sunday last was not played. Ballyduff have conceded a number of w/os so whether this game will go ahead at a later date we must wait for the C C C C of the County Board to decide. This is the second week in a row that Asdee haven’t a game in the County league with Ballylongford failing to fulfil a back game on Sunday July 19th. Certainly this is no advantage to our senior footballers who are prepairing for a number of important games coming up which includes a North Kerry League Division 2 Final against Moyvane and a County Novice Championship Semi Final with St. Senans and even though the team are training on a regular basis; its all about playing games which would be the ideal preparation for those games coming up.

FIXTURES. Credit Union County Football League; Remaining games; Home to both Duagh and Renard while the trip to Knocknagoshel lies in between. At the moment Asdee would be in contention for promotion to Division 3 but it would need victory in those remaining games but who in fact all three are favourities to go up. A difficult enough assignment but the team are more than capable of further success. . The McCarthys Insurance Brokers North Kerry League Division 2 Final; Asdee v Moyvane has been posponed to a later date.
