NORTH KERRY LEAGUE. Due to the atrocious weather conditions that
prevailed on Sunday morning last for the Asdee v Duagh McCarthys
Insurance Brokers North Kerry Senior League Division 2, Round 3 clash
due to be played in Duagh; it was in the interest of everybody and
especially for the safety of the players that this game be postponed
to a later date. A new date will now be set by the C C C of the North
Kerry Football Board.
MINORS. Bally/Asdee 3-12 Moyvane/Tarbert 1-13. Our Minors playing in
the County League Division 6 in Round 2 really turned on the style
when they got over a well fancied Moyvane/Tarbert side in a rip
roaring game with some excellent scores coming from both sides and
played at O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford on Saturday last. It was all
square at the break with Owen O Connor neatly putting away a penalty;
Bally/Asdee 1-6 Moyvane/Tarbert 0-9.
Further goals during a hectic second half coming from Conor Carmody after just 2 minutes with Sean Hanrahan billowing the net coming up to the final whistle. Moyvane/Tarbert got their goal midway through this half but even though they were always in the game it was never enough as the boys in blue and white finished stronger. Having lost to Beale in Round 1 they are now back on track with upcoming games against Ballydonoghue and Castlegregory to come.
GOLDEN GOAL. Week 3 winner of the Golden Goal was Tom “Stokes” O
Sullivam, Dirra, which is in conjunction with upcoming Fixtures in
both National Football and Hurling League and Championship. (Televised
games).

of the National League and Championship from Club members and at the
usual outlets; “Jack Jays” Bar, Post Office and John Pius at E2 each
