COUNTY LEAGUEThis Sunday July 19th at 2pm Asdee Senior Footballers will take on our fellow parishioners Ballylongford in Round 5; (Back Game) of the Credit Union County League Division 5. The venue will be Walsh Park.

Minor Leagues 

Asdee/Bally will be competing in Division 2 of the North Kerry Minor League which got underway on Monday June 29th at 7 30pm  with an away game against Moyvane/Tarbert and they got off to the perfect start with a comprehensive victory. The remaining teams in the Division are; Beale, Knocknagoshel/Brosna, Finuge, St. Senans

Format; 15/13 aside competition if the opposing team can only field 13 aside they must be accommodated.  Top two teams play in the final. If teams are tied on points then the original game result will stand. The following fixtures have been made by the C C C  of the North Kerry football  Board involving Asdee/Bally;

20/7/15    Asdee/Bally v  Beale

27/7/15    Asdee/Bally v St. Senans

  3/8/15    Asdee/Bally v Finuge

10/8/15    Asdee/Bally v Brosna/Knocknagoshel

All games have a 7 30pm throw-in time with first named teams having home venue.

Preliminary Round

Moyvane/Tarbert v Ballylongford/Asdee. With the winners to play Castleisland Desmonds in a Quarter Final. (Extra Time if required)

UNDER 12s  Asdee/Bally Under 12 footballers had a comprehensive 19 point victory in the North Kerry League when they defeated Finuge 5 -16 to 3 -3 played at O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford last weekend.

 SHANNON RANGERS NEWS. 

SENIORS.The Garvey’s Supervalu  County Senior football Championship games fixed for this coming weekend are all off due to Kerrys involvement in the Munster Senior Football Championship replay.Shannon Rangers were due to play Rathmore in Round 3 at Shannon Park, Tarbert on this Saturday evening but will now have to be rearranged. Local players Martin Collins and Darren Russell are members of the panel.

MINORS. As expected Shannon Rangers Minor footballers powered by several members of the Ballydonoghue County Minor League Division 1 side plus Kerry Minors; Jason Foley and Brian O Seanachain both Ballydonoghue, Jack Goulding, Ballyduff. Cormac Linnane of Beale who was out of action for this tie due to injury during the recent Munster Championship Final and they advanced to the next round of the Keanes SuperValue County Minor Football Championship when they defeated St. Kierans on a scoreline of Shannon Rangers 4-15  St. Kierans 0-9. From the local Asdee/Bally combination side Darragh Keane, Tadhg McEllistrim, Ciaran O Connor were on the starting 15 while; Darren Murphy, Jack Mulvihill, Cian Barrett and Sean Carmody were on the subs bench.

FIXTURES.  Credit Union County Football League, Round 5; )Back Game) Asdee v Ballylongford; Sunday July 19th, 2 30pm at Walsh Park.  Round 8, Ballyduff will be at home to Asdee.W/E Sat/Sun July 25/26th. The McCarthys Insurance Brokers North Kerry League Division 2 Final; Asdee v Moyvane has been posponed to a later date. County Novice Championship Semi Final, Asdee v St. Senans date and venue to be confirmed.
