The second half started off evenly and was score for score however Annaclones superior fitness was shown in the end. Which left the final score 1:5 to 1:13.

The quarter final of the All Ireland Feile Played in Ballyduff at 2 this afternoon. Asdee/Bally were extremely unlucky to come out on the wrong end of a one point defeat. Duagh got off to a mighty start and had a commanding lead after 10 mins. The Asdee/Bally boys boys did not admit defeat and at half time the scores were 1:3 to Asdee/Bally 2:3 to Duagh.
Playing into a slight wind in the second half the Asdee Bally boys battled all the way and got of to a flying start and brought the game back to level Duagh went a point ahead and then Asdee/Bally pulled off a cracking goal to take a two point lead into the final minutes. However luck was not with us and in the cruelest of fashions Duagh scored a goal with the last kick of the game which sees them through to the semi final. The players were disappointed and but can
be extremely proud of themselves. The scorers for Asdee/Bally were Liam Mulvihill 1 goal 4 points, Oran O Neill 1 goal, Brendan Keane 1 goal.
We would like to thank our two managers Kevin Stack and JP McElligott and our selectors Tom Stack, Sean Kennelly and Kieran Kelly for all the hard work and all the dedication they have put into the team over the last 12 months. The future is looking very bright for football here in Asdee/Bally. A big thank you to the two clubs Asdee and Bally for all the work they put into organising the travelling families and
clubs. The referee was Tom Sullivan from Clounmacon.
