We are delighted to announce that our 9th player has been sponsored in our SPONSOR AN ASDEE PLAYER FOR MUNSTER fundraiser. Our first celbrity sponsor has came on board. Barney Rock one of Dublins star players from their golden era in the 1970s-1980s has kindly sponsored our corner forward Eoin Kennedy. Barney is the proud holder of three All-Stars as well as one All-Ireland medal and played against Eoin’s father John in the 1984 and 1985 All-Ireland Finals at Croke Park. His son Dean is now a prominent player on the Dublin team and played a big part in helping them to their All-Ireland title in 2013. Everyone in Asdee GAA would like to thank Barney for his generosity in helping the club prepare for their Munster Championship campaign. Who will be the next player to be sponsored?
