UNDER 21 SHIELD.

Ballydonoghue (3-6) Asdee/Bally/Beale (0-15) After extra time. Ballydonoghue (5-9) A/B/B (1-20).

Ballydonoghue and Asdee/Bally/Beale played out  a nail biting preliminary round of the County Club Shield in Dowling  Park,Coolard  on Tuesday evening last. With the sides locked together at the end of normal time. It took 10mins a side of extra time to finally produce a winner and even then it went right down to the final kick of the ball. With Ballydonoghue finding the net with a last minute 13m free when they trailed by 2pts.

UNDERAGE.  At the minute all the activity is on the U14 and U12 in North Kerry Leagues and certainly at both grades the local combination side of Asdee/Bally are doing particularly well. At U14 level playing in Division 2 “B” and they are on top of the table with just one game to play(vBeale on Monday last) and have qualified already for the knockout stages of the competition. Again our U12s also top their group in Division 2 “B” with Moyvane, Tarbert and Knocknagoshel failing to take any league points of them and they too are through to the latter stages. Dates and venues for the finals will be decided at a Coiste Na nOg meeting.
