The important changes to note
1. The new category called Léiriú will replace the Novelty act. Groups are still encouraged to write their own scripts with elements of live music, dance and comedy. cast.
2. The categories of Recitation, Léiriú, Solo singing and Ballad may include pieces based on Irish history and folklore or on the history and folklore of the country of birth/origin of the competitor.
3. The quiz will continue to be organised by Scór but will be held on a different night. It will be a table quiz with 10 rounds of 10 questions. There will be a county final with each winner from the 32 counties participating in the All Ireland final. This will be held on the eve of the All Ireland Scór Finals.
