CLUB DRAW  Tickets are now on sale for the Clubs Christmas Hamper Draw at E2 a line and can be obtained from Club Assistant Secretary, Kathleen Carmody are from any Club Officer. Prizes will include a huge Christmas Hamper as first prize with numerous other worthwhile prizes to be won also. The draw will take place at the Jessie James Tavern on Sunday December 22nd. Once again we ask for your continued support.

COUNTY SEMI FINAL. The very best of luck to Anthony Hanlon who will be representing the club in the County Semi Finals of Scor Na nOg in the Recitation category. The venue will be the Community Centre, Knocknagoshel on this Friday evening with a starting time of 7pm. 

SPONSOR. Historic occasion coming up when our recently crowned County Novice Champions will not alone be representing their club but will also be representing the County in the Munster Junior “B” competition. Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that an opportunity to play in a Munster competition would come our way. As a token of gratitude to both players and management for their magnificent achievement we are asking you our faithful followers to sponsor a player of your choice for just E50. Your name will appear alongside your chosen player on the Club website; www.asdeegaa.com and on Facebook. Already a number of players have been sponsored so don’t mis out on this opportunity to be involved in such an historic occasion. Contact any club Officer for any further information that you may require.

CLUB SOCIAL. A victory Club Social has been confirmed and will take place at the Listowel Arms Hotel on Sunday December 29th. Everybody to be seated at 8pm. sharp. Music will be provided by the very popular “Heart and Soul” followed by a Disco with Fintan Henry. Tickets priced at E30 each will be on sale this weekend and can be purchased from any of the Social Committee or Club Officers. Already a very popular Guest of Honour of G A A fame has been invited and who will be present to present the County Shield medals to the victorious Asdee footballers and who knows by then the club could very well be celebrating a  Munster Junior “B” victory.                                                                                                                                                     

SCOR On behalf of the Club we would like to take this opportunity in thanking Paddy and Eileen Horgan of Amber Filling Station Tarbert Road Listowel who has kindly sponsored North Kerry Scor Na nOg while another local man Tom O Sullivan of Agri Business, Kilcolman who will be sponsoring Coiste Scor Sinsear Chiarrai Thuaidh which will be coming up after the festive season. Both have been sponsoring these competitions for a number of years.

CLUB JERSIES.  We are indebted to the local people for sponsorship to the Club and who have never left us down. Recently Asdee G A A Club announced that “Brandon Products” Kilcolman Asdee came on board in sponsoring a set of Jersies for our senior footballers. We are of course not forgetting all the many other sponsors too numerous to mention who have given spot prizes to many of the Clubs events down through the years. We thank them for their kind sponsorship and we urge everybody to support locally at all times.

FIXTURE  Club competitions in Munster Junior “B” are moving towards the latter stages; Cork champions Charleville will take on  theTipperary champions in one semi final while Asdee will take on  Limerick champions Fedamore or Feenagh/Kilmeedy in the remaining semi final. The most likely date for our semi final will be Sunday December 1st in Knockaderry, County Limerick.
