We would like to congratulate our Bord na nÓg on their extremely successful Fashion Show in a packed Asdee Community Centre on Friday evening, 20th November.
Our underage and senior members took part in big numbers, along with many more people from the parish and beyond. A great night of entertainment, fashion, wine and fun was had by all, where the support from the community was both welcome and heartwarming.
A particular word of thanks to Sinead Doyle for her huge work in organising the night and to the numerous others who participated or helped in preparing the hall. Special mention to Eoin O’Carroll for doing a great job as MC for the show. All of the models were a credit and displayed their array of outfits with confidence and a touch of class.
In the build-up to Christmas, we wish continued success to each of the clothing shops who had their ranges on display, as well the shops and individuals who had their accessories and products for sale on the night.
On a side note, our own JP McElligott found himself at the centre of some added female attention while on the catwalk, with their underwear being thrown in his direction. Here’s a photo of Nora Stack after having her knickers returned to her 🙂
We also have a few clips from the night below. Please feel free to link any photos or videos of the night to our Facebook page.
