Asdee/Bally  4-13  Cromane  0-3  Played at O Rahilly Park, Ballylongford on Wednesday evening last our Under 14 footballers by virtue of a comprehensive 22pt victory over Mid Kerry side Cromane have qualified for a County Final date with St. Pats, Blennerville on this Thursday evening; 7 30pm.at Ballyduff. Certainly this was the complete team performance with each member displaying some wonderful football skills that belied their age and none more so than Owen O Connor who contributed 3-3 of his side total and was a thorn in the Cromane defence throughout. The home team were quick out of blocks and were 1-4 up before Cromane registered their only score of the half after 13mts play. The goal coming from Jack Collins after just 2mts. The combination sides keeper Neill Carmody saved well leaving the half time score; Asdee/Bally  1-5  Cromane  0-1.  On resumption Cromane was to score on two occasions; from a free in the 2nd mt and 15 mt play as the home side took complete control to run out the easiest of winners.

As already stated every one played brilliantly,

Jack Keane, Conor Carmody, Seán Carmody in the backs, Kieran Dowd, James O’Connor who were in total control at midfield, obviously Eoin O’Connor was outstanding up front once he got going.
