All roads will lead to the Bob Stack, Park, Ballybunion on this Sunday November 3rd commencing at 2pm for the meeting  of neighbouring clubs and great rivals Beale and Asdee; in the Credit Union County football League Division 5, semi final play-off.

In recent meetings between these two sides the Seasiders would seem to have the Indian sign over their opponents but in fairness to Asdee even though coming off at the wrong end of the scoreline on a few occasions there was never much between the sides at the final whistle.

Both sides had  excellent  campaigns in their respective county league groups and fully deserve to be at this stage of the competition; However i suppose overall the Seasiders would have to enter this stage of the competition as favourites and especially as they  can enjoy home advantage; Certainly they would appear to be better equipped side having a much bigger panel compared to their opponents who are struggling for numbers at the minute.

Beale  will be pinning their hopes on Jeremy King, Cormac Linnane, Ger Gorman, Fionan Twomey, Eric Daly, Ian Mannix, Sean Dee, Darragh Buckley and James McMahon to mention a few while for Asdee the Keane brothers, Sean and Darragh, Eoin Kennedy, Kieran Kelly, John Doran, Darren Russell , Cyril Dineen,  Eoin Tydings and Martin Collins will have to be at full throttle to keep the Beale challenge at bay.

So as already stated Beale who did not fare out so well in round 1 of the North Kerry Championship against last years winners St. Senans and they will be all out to prove to their supporters that they had a bad day at the office ; but on this occasion; they will be the favourites and rightly so.

This is a must win game for either side if they hope to keep their promotions aspirations alive; loosers will be finished for the year so on that note im sure we will be treated to an all out action contest that will be sure to bring a huge following to the Seaside Villiage.

The winners here will then take on Kilgarvan who have home venue  or Sneem/Derrynane in the remaining semi final. Both winners will playoff for outright promotion to Division 4 of the Credit Union County League for 2020.

The local Club have a great record in taking part in Scor competitions and im sure this will be no exception.
