Congratulations to Club Member Eddie Anthony Walsh of St. Marys, Asdee who was elected North Kerry Football Board Development Officer at their A G M held at Christys “The Well” Bar Listowel on Tuesday last. Certainly Eddie has served the Board well over the past seven years coming in as Vice Chairman in 2012 for a 2 year period and then been re-elected for a further 5 years. He also served as Youth Officer; 2014 to 2018. Was Club Treasurer and Team Trainer and was one of the top Referees in the County back the years; again serving both his Club and the North Kerry Board with distinction. We wish him well in his new position. Also congrats to John Joe Walsh, from our neighbouring Club Ballylongford at the Eastern side of the parish and long time Officer of the North Kerry Board who was elected as Treasurer for the next 5 years having previously served as Assistant Treasurer and Development Officer.
