Credit Union Senior Football League 2021 Cordal 1-16, Asdee 1-16

Played in Cordal, Asdee opened the scoring in the 1st minute of the game with a point from play. Cordal responded in the 2nd minute with a point from play from Jason Cronin and immediately scored a goal in the 3rd minute through Brian Reidy.

Further points from Philp O Connor & Brian Reidy and a 45 from Sean Og O Chiarbhain with the visitors registering further points. to leave the score in Cordal favour 1.04 to 0-3.

Asdee responded after the water break with 4 points to keep the score 1-4 to 0-07; 6 of those points came from Darragh Keane Cordal with points from Kevin Walsh and Philip O Connor but Asdee quickly replied by Paul O Carroll and Cyril Dineen added points leaving the score at half time 1-09 to Cordal 0-09 to Asdee.

On resumption Asdee opened the scoring with a point by Darragh Keane but Sean Og O Chiarbhain kicked his second 45 of the game followed by a Kevin Walsh point to leave the second half water break Cordal 1-12 Asdee 0-12 Asdee responded with a further 2 points to leave the home side up by 1pt.

Cordal added 3 points, but Asdee hit back with a well taken penalty from Owen Tydings and a point by Darragh Keane to tie up the game as we approached the final whistle.

Cordal kicked looked like what was the winner deep in injury time, but the very reliable Darragh Keane swung over his 9th point of the game and the equaliser with virtually the last kick of the game 

Golden Goal Munster Final winners were Sophie Flavin & Brian Coughlan, last week winners were Shane Mahoney & Sean Stack (Tullahinell)
