COUNTY LEAGUE DIVISION 5.  Asdee  3-10   Tuosist   3-7.

Asdee made the long trip to Tuosist on Saturday evening last and came away with two very valuable County league points and after leading at the break by a 9 point margin they had to withstand a second half onslaught by the home side to shade a narrow victory in the end.

Without doubt playing against the wind in the opening half the visitors dominated in all sectors and got off to a blistering start with Darren Russell finding the target with 1-3 the goal coming from the penalty spot. Tuosist did finding an opening for 1-2 but further goals from Dinny Dalton and Eoin Tydings together with points from the latter and from Darragh Keane left Asdee in a very comfortable interval lead of 3-5 to Tuosist 1-2.

Eoin Tydings, Dinny Dalton and Charles Daltonregistered points early on resumptiom and at this early stage it seemed like the visitors would canter to victory. However Tuosist had other ideas and threw caution to the wind hitting a purple patch midway through this half and scoring 2-3 without reply and narrowing the gap to a single point; 3-7 to 3-8 nearing the 25th minute. Asdee looked in all sorts of trouble but late points from Con Carmody Darragh Keane brought relief and settled the issue.
