UNDER 21s.  Asdee/Bally/Beale, three clubs failed to field 15 players for their opening round County Club Under 21 championship at Stack Park, Ballybunionon Friday evening last giving Listowel Emmets a w/o. This was most disappointing and should be looked into immediately by the clubs concerned. Why enter a team that don’t show interest in some competitions.

FAS.  At the moment there has been plenty ongoing work at the Jack Walsh Park and great credit is due to our very dedicated Fas workers who have been doing some great work with Dressing Rooms, Stand and Perimeter fencing  all getting a face lift.

SCRAP METAL.A scrap metal collection will be taking place mid August as a fund raiser for the local St. Marys, Asdee G A A. Anybody who would be interested in helping out the club in this latest venture can contact any club member or John Hannon who does trojan work in the Community and collection will be arranged if necessary.

MINOR FINAL. Congratulations to the Ballydonoghue Minor footballers who defeated their great rivals Listowel Emmets by 2-19 to 4-6 in a gripping North Kerry League Division 1 Final. The game was played before a huge attendance at the local Jack Walsh Park and despite the torrential rain that fell during the day the field was in perfect condition and this was down to the local field committee who made sure everything was in order for the occasion. After the game North Kerry Vice Chairman and local club Treasurer was on hand to present the Ballydonoghue captain David Foley with the winners Shield.
